Our Assistant Director

Hi, My name is Sandeep Kaur. I have been working as an early childhood educator for over 8 years. I have my Masters in computer science and BED from India, where I used to work as an elementary school teacher.

I have been happily married for the past 12 years and have 2 beautiful daughters,10 and 3. I believe that one of the most important responsibilities of an early childhood educator is to build a foundation for children to be lifelong learners and strong human beings.

Inclusive

Embracing uniqueness, fostering inclusivity, and promoting diversity and acceptance for all children to create a sense of belonging in our nurturing environment.

Responsible

We take our role as responsible caregivers seriously, prioritizing the safety, well-being, and holistic development of each child entrusted to our care.

Respectful

We deeply honor and value the dignity, individuality, and perspectives of every child, parent, and staff member within our inclusive child care community.

Collaborative

A collaborative child care experience where respect, responsibility, and inclusivity thrive, nurturing the development of every child.

Our Philosophy

Children are curious learners, and it is important that we provide them the opportunities to grow with confidence, which will turn them into the independent and responsible citizens of the community. To facilitate their holistic development, our program will be based on learning through play model and will implement Flight-Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Frame work Curriculum. Our program will plan the activities, and create a safe and secure environment to promote independence and curiosity. This supports the principle of the childcare act, which requires that the safety, security, well-being and development of the child is supported and preserved. It also supports the matter to consider, by encouraging the children in having care and play experiences that support their development and learning. Our philosophy aligns with the parents’ beliefs and values because parents always want their children grow into independent, confident and responsible citizens.
